Macedonia is not the only one fighting for balance between environment and economy – the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been trying for years to prevent the construction of small hydropower plants. Is a compromise possible that will meet the energy needs of these developing countries and at the same time preserve the natural heritage?
